I'm guest blogging today over at Not Your Usual Suspects, talking about writing what you love.

In some sad news, we had a medical emergency this past week, and had to put our beloved Missy to sleep. She was our 12-year-old black labrador and we had had her since she was a year old. She was such a part of our family and it was devastating to lose her.

As I've said before, and I'll say again, I'm going to TRY to be better about blogging and having guest bloggers from time to time. I'll keep everybody posted as things progress.

So looked lovely, Kathy. I know exactly what you're going through :(

So sorry, Kathy. Like Toni, I know what you're going through and it really is heartbreaking.

I'll picture Missy running around 'up there' with the black lab I lost 7 years ago. She was 12 too. RIP, lovely Missy.

Thanks so much, ladies. She truly was a joy to live with. We've always had black labs, but Missy will always have a special place in my heart. She always did from the moment I picked her out at the no-kill shelter.

She was well-loved and will be missed.

So sorry about Missy, Kathy! She was such a sweetie and a good watch dog. I know your heart is hurting. {{{Hugs}}}
